Real products, real prices.

What those searches return right now. Each one links to every seller we can see for it.

How to ask for this

One word changes the answer.

Three habits that get you the right thing at the right price. Each is run both ways against the index, so you can see the difference.

  1. 01

Ask for the piece, then narrow it

    Say“a wall lamp”Itemwall lamp6 matches, from $6.42
Rather than“lighting for a small living room”0 matches

Titles name the object. Start with the object, see the spread of prices, then add a budget to cut it down.

  2. 02

Put the budget in the sentence

    Say“a backpack under $25”ItembackpackPrice≤ $2520 matches, from $4.21
    Rather than“a cheap backpack”0 matches

“Under $25” is a gate: nothing over it can come back. “Cheap” is just another word to find in a title, and sellers almost never write it, so it finds less, not cheaper.

  3. 03

Big things: say where it ships from

Say“a bathroom mirror that ships from the US”Itembathroom mirrorShips fromUS2 matches, from $130.99
Rather than“a bathroom mirror that arrives this week”3 matches · a part of it cannot be checked

Heavy pieces cost the most to ship far. Ships-from is declared by sellers and checked; an arrival date is not, so it is shown as not measured.

Questions

What people ask first.

Can I furnish a whole room in one search?

One search finds one kind of thing. Ask for each piece in its own sentence, with its own budget, so every answer is the cheapest seller of exactly that piece.

Are the prices including shipping?

Vesim shows the price the seller lists. Shipping costs are not returned by every source yet, so check the seller's page before you buy.

Why do two listings that look identical have different prices?

They are often the same product from the same factory, photographed once and resold by several stores. Vesim matches the photo, so it can put them side by side and show the cheaper one.
